To be honest I dont "get" jazz.... Miller, Bidelbeck et al well yeah, but this modern overly syncopated stuff leaves me cold. Can recognise skilful playing when I hear it tho, regardless of genre, and I hear it in all your posts.

I'm not really qualified to comment, that's why it;s tough to say if I am just being nice or not. It sounds smooth with great tones but I am no jazzer so I can't really say if the timing and playing is "jazz" or a little bit off in places. But there was nothing that made me go "ouch" or "that sounds off", so I reckon that and your no 7 spot should convince you. Just think where you would be if you had hit the sweet spot more!

thanks for the comments, steve and no worries. my wife says the same thing, "I just don't get it."

besides - it's all about what the listener hears.

"Mad Hatter" (a.k.a. Ferryman) you are correct. poor recording quality, questionable timing, sweet spot missed, but inspite of all that, it's now up to #4. i guess somebody's not hearing it like you and i.

i work in a high pressure fast paced business and the biggest challenge for me is to slow it down when i'm doing my music.
