Is there a way to transfer drum data via USB?

Hello, A Newbie Question?

Is there a way to transfer the drum data, via usb from the Micro BR to a computer.
I'm using the BR Wave Converter 2.0 to transfer wave data to my computer. But, I'm not able
to transfer the drum data by this means.

I'm currently plugging in a stereo line plug into the headphone jack, then turning down all the tracks
except the rhythm track (drums) then recording the drums via analog to my computer.

Is there a way to transfer the drum data via USB, digitally?

Thanks,
Michael

Master the drums to WAV or MP3 then transfer as normal.

Not sure if I am misunderstanding the question or if you dont realise that the MBR acts as a drive when connected to USB. Once you have mastered the drumtrack (turning off the other tracks by selecting an empty V track) you can just drag it onto your desktop. Not aware of any other way to transfer digitally, anybody else know?

When the BR is in bounce mode (see page 50 of the Micro BR manual), the drums will be included in the destination tracks. To record only the drums, set all the track levels to zero, except Rhythm, and perform a bounce to a pair of v-tracks (the drums are stereo). You can then transfer those two v-tracks to your computer via USB using the BR Wave Converter, just as you would any other v-tracks.

Now why did I not think of that? <hits head against brick wall>

Steve & 64.....

Thank you much. Thanks for the info.

I knew there was a way to copy the drum track to a DAW.

I'm new to this little "fire-cracker" but by no means new to recording.
'been recording over 40 years"

Again, Thank you,
