Nah, I'm using the delay on my modellor (a VOX Tonelab LE) and recording it wet.

I use the tonelab's delays because there's a lot more versatility in them - especially "ducking", this is really useful - you can set the amount that the echo is automatically turned down ("ducked") as you play a new note, this stops the effect from getting in the way of the performance. I can also take advantage of the "tap" function to set the delay times with the tempo...

As I usually record my guitars in stereo anyway, I tend to use the stereo/panning delay most of the time. It really shows up on the outro doesn't it?
