Done on a Strat, well, its the sentiment that counts, and I used the 'bucker...

Had no sleep (Up with the little'un) so at 5.00 am I decide to do this ???

Yeah, I know  ;)

SteveG... wow man, I really dig the way you work the entire neck on your riffs. Nice man... guitar tone cut right through.

That is deep cutting tone you have going on there. Great chops, too!

This one will have to go straight to PiePod!

Mark

PS - How did you manage to get the big organ sound from the backer, and still keep the guitar tone sharp?

Great take Steve!  The backer seems to have same chords as "Black Magic Woman" C. Santana --- excellent job!

Cheers guys. The trick with the backer is compression. I recorded the solo using SmoothLD, changed the cab setting to the  ... uummmm .. the lower case one, is it unmiked or sommat?

Anyway, I loaded the backer and solo into Audition, set up an effects bus for compression, added a doubler to the solo part, and the rest is tinkering with EQ, reverb etc and getting the compression right.

The boy is better today and demanding food, I am ill tho :(

What equipment do you use for the backing keyboards/drums/bass and what are the microBR controls for the sounds? I am a newbie and tinkering with the micro at the moment.

48 put the backer up mate, it is here...

There are several of his "Challenge " backers knocking around here, give one a shot, best way to learn how to use this thiing is to .... errr .... use it :D
