Taking the excellent "Latinish Backer", and my Les Paul again tonight, I went for a cleaner amp model this time, and this is what came out.  As Mike suggested, this was as tribute to the great man himself, may he now rest in peace, and he's probably jamming with Jimmi and Rory Gallagher by now.

Nice tribute to a true original and innovator, BB. Great blues tone and traditional style. Les changed the whole landscape of music, and will be deeply missed. It's great that he was able to continue to play until his death. Good work.
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

Nice! I hear Black Magic Woman, but more Green than Santana, which to me is a GOOD thing!!! Peter Green replaced Clapton as God when he replaced him in the Bluesbreakers!

Great tone and your usual fine playing ... loved it. Another one I am itching to try now  ::)

Oh, and Les is probably arguing with Jimi and Rory, "What the hell you playing that bolt on plank for?".  ;D

Wiley

No more words than just awesome!!  You have made your guitar cry twice now at least.!!  Gives me goose bumps.

Thanks all, the patch was vintage British (I think that is what it is called - I assume a Vox AC30 model) and I turned on compression and cranked the reverb for the British Blues vibe.  I have really enjoyed doing these two backers over the last 2 nights, thanks for all the great comments everyone.
