Sorry about the miscue.  Appears to have been an Audacity hiccup as I exported the mp3 from the wav file.  Any way,

as I said,

I really enjoyed this project ;D, especially playing the two percussion parts, which were lined into the BR from DTXpress.  The guitar parts were easy, but I tried to get them really tight.  Indeed it helps the Bass Simulator if you play as much as possible on one string.  Sorry about the vox.... :-[

The vox were great - my favorite part of the song.

Right on!!

Yes, the vox aren't bad at all, in fact they're pretty good! You sing in tune and get the pitch right throughout, don't be afraid of them. They fit this song well - David Byrne is hardly a great singer (great vocalist and a visionary though). I would encourage you to keep doing more vox. This came together well, it all works and sounds great.

Cheers,

I noticed from a second listen that you have some great percussion going on (Tone block and triangle!) - On the 600, is there a good selection to pick from? (Tambourine, Sleighbells, etc.) And can you program each voice separately?

I have an MBR, which has none of that.

Thanks,

Mark

Thanks much for the encouragement on the vox guys!  I really appreciate it (and probably need it).  A shout out to Hooper who gave me a tip on making the vox sound fuller which I used on this second mix.

On the drums, I haven't used the rhythm on the BR600 at all (yet).  For this one, I played two tracks on Yamaha electronic drums with DTXpress and lined them in stereo into the BR.

Thanks again for the comments and encouragement.  :)

I really like the vocals on this too, although the strange early Beatles type stereo is perhaps a little too weird.
Nice song though.
I've always wanted to have a go at Psycho Killer, and your cover might just spur me on.

Shame on you not using the BR600's rhythm section though. It's really not that bad.

Although it has a limited amount of presets, you can load your own tones (samples).
I've tried it once on She's Lost Control to create the syndrum type sound.

To sum up ...Cool tune.
