Gotta love the Kaossilator and you definitely get a big prize for being the first to effectively use the sitar-y sound. I always just make a few silly noises and move on with tha one, so well done for creating a really nice mood piece with that. The stuff going on with the other sound is great as well. This is simple but very effective and enjoyable. Actually, "Early Morning" is a good title for this piece, it's kind of uplifting and dawn chorus-y.

Bit of a change from jazz, I'd love to see you use these Kaossilator skills in a jazz track!

well... i certainly didn't anticipate the response that this piece brought.

i want to keep the Quartet concept pure and true to the 50-60's "Cool" Jazz sound, so i got the KO-1 to stretch into the Fusion/Avant Garde ideas pulsing through my brain.

2 tracks straight into the MBR, audacitized and uploaded, all in a matter of 20 minutes before i had to take off for work.

I would officially like to ban the Kaossilator from this site. It seems like way too much fun. I already have too little time, I am running close to divorce because of my MBR, Tim Green, James Higgins, Geir Alfsen, Tharek Mokbul, just to name a very few and having a kaossilator would just make things much much worse.

So stop it now. No more. You're making me extremely envious and it's driving me round the bend.

And if you can produce quality like this within a day of getting the bloody thing, I'm just going to have to get one.

I was listening to your piece as I am trying to figure out the (new for me) technology of a wifi Palm garnered through school.  I started to laugh at what a perfect backdrop your music was for fiddling with the thing.  I'm glad you didn't morph into some Megadeath riff as I would have had to throw the thing against the wall.

Very enjoyable listen.  You have found an interesting compliment of sounds.  It would serve as a different sort of intro. for a full band sound.  I really like the airiness of it.
