lestg (greg) posted his new song here https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=3960.0 but he asked me to sing it for him. i sang it a bit differently from greg and as a result couldn't fit in the last two verses but greg and i think it still works.

the lyrics are greg's own words and i havent changed them in any way other than in my interpretation of them, and that i would suggest a new title, that title being, "dreaming of you"
anyway here it is

Slow, moody and a great vocal performance from ORH. Real feeling and emotion here, great job guys.

Cheers,

Nice song!  The backing and vocal sound like they belong together.. the backing supports the vocal without competing with it. Yet another manifestation of one of the many faces of Dr. Rottenhead...  :D

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Great guitar, great vocal... this is a superior collaboration in all respects. I agree with the comments about the emotion that orh is able to instill in a song - again and again. The clean lead playing on this is just lovely. Great work boys.

Is this a reference to the wonderful (and surreal) film 'The 7 faces of Dr Lao'? Great film!!!!!

:D  :D  That works... actually better than what I was half-way thinking of: The 12 Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus (Spirit)  I about wore the grooves smooth on that record...
