The Kite has THREE guitarists now! Nice work James. Use your ear to follow those riffs / scales higher and lower on the neck to add some variation. You have the right feel for sure.

Get some more effects Jim and keep practising what you have and you have invented a new guitar sound, just like Kevin Shields of MBV! I quite like this but then I like indie bands like Sonic Youth and MBV. it's a very different take and well done for doing something different.

Not bad ORH! Not bad at all! Your instincts are very good. Especially with phrasing. Although the number of notes you use a limited, you do appear to know when to repeat them and when to change he phrasing. You definitely well on your way! keep it up and you'll be a match for Dmann or Satch in no time! ;)

Ha I kinda picture and ambulance/fire show-the guitar sounds like a siren in a few parts.

And stop hating on your playing man!  Its not what notes you play-its how you play em!

I thought it sounded fine and you were off to a great start. I think your MBR was telling you something when it temporarily went on the fritz:

"Get back behind the slab, dude!!!"

It's in your blood, Jim!!

Jim, I actually learned something from this, so hanging your head in shame is a sad thing. I have a tendency to throw out note vomit when I'm trying something like this. You kept it simple and it was beyond listenable, it was actually pretty cool.

I would have squeezed in 17 frets worth of misplaced and poorly timed notes trying to add variety, and would have posted a disaster. Thanks for opening my eyes to new possibilities.
