This is a fantastic piece of songwriting. It takes a lot of ability to invoke imagery and emotion like this. I really like the simple delivery too, which is possible because you have such a good, clear voice and lovely fingerpicking style. It's great.

Although I couldn't wait to get away from the council estate I grew up on, lol.

I was tempted to bounce but then after listening to the 3 tracks decided i liked the simplicity of it. Yep i left Plains Farm many years ago although i still visit my parents there. It's changed so much and not for the better. I shall stop now or risk sounding like an old fart :-)

Great bump... I can relate to the lyrics on this one. I grew up on an estate much like this & you capture that misty-eyed, rose tinted nostalgia perfectly. Bravo!

The feel of this great track reminds me of a sixties (or early seventies) song; "Last Autumn's Dream" by Jade Warrior. To me, it evokes a similar mood of pleasant nostalgia.

I had places like Plains Farm in my childhood; some I've never been back to.
Dueling BR1600s. Beats banjos.
