Don't know if anyone's interested, but this is something I'm a member of http://www.songwriters-guild.co.uk/

They do Copyright for free, loads of helpful info, and every quarter there's a mag with allsorts of stuff about Publishers/ Record companies etc etc etc, and what they're looking for. They tell you about music competitions ( with apps forms) too.

Oh yeh, it's international, so not just for anyone in the UK.
