mixing tracks in audacity

can anybody give me a rough idea on how to put tracks that have been recorded on the Mbr , over to Audacity
 Once you have made your seperate recordings , do you have to convert them to wave , then transfer them to audacity
Can you also , for instance , on the Mbr , put an intro , that you recorded on it's own , in front of another track , that was recorded seperately , and say put another verse into a song that you have already completed seamlessly , or is it better to do this in audacity

Use the BOSS Wave Converter to transfer individual tracks from the MBR to the PC as WAV.

Possible to do all that on the MBR, easier in Audacity.

If you are just starting out with Audacity, so no learning time to waste, you may want to consider Reaper. Also free, and can do much, much more. Harder tho.....
