Help with Rhythm patterns and varying tempos.

As you know many songs have varying tempos throughout the piece.

I managed to figure out how to make an arrangement for a song so far, but now I have another song that has a part where it speeds up a bit.

Is there a way to have one or more rhythm arrangements and not get out of sync with the music?

thanks in advance!

Each step of an arrangement has its own tempo setting. So, a single arrangement can change tempo up to 50 times (the maximum number of steps in an arrangement is 50).

I understand that, but when I speed up some of the steops in an arrangement, then the next section of steps is out of sync... since the measures are now faster or slower.

I guess it would be trial and error to try to sync up after the fast part?

What I want to do is start say at 80bpm for the first part, then there is a 2nd part where you gradually speed up (russian type song). then the 3rd part goes back to the 80bpm but when I do that it does not start right at the 1st beat anymore... see what I mean?

So long as the drums play ok then do them first then play along, don't matter if they are "in sync" with the display then?

Mabe I did not explain it right.

My whole point is that the song has a part where it's supposed to speed up quite a bit but I cannot change the tempo as I record even the rhythm alone.

I can use a basic tempo and speed up and sort of get it to sync when I play the rest of the tracks but it's not the same as actually being able to have the rhythm speed up as needed during certain parts of the song.

Even if you had a section that goes from 100 to 120 abruptly, how can one do the rhythm track like this?

Dunno then, I have never tried to do anything like that. You have me curious now tho will have to have a mess with it. Will post if I have any joy. I am sure that someone here will come up with the definitive answer before that tho!
