I've been tinkering with this one for two or three weeks. It's a bit of a psychedelic extravaganza, involving different parts, sections, and lots of sound fx trickery. All the music was done on the BR and performed by me (vocals, guitars, lots of keyboards, and bass), with around 20-30 different mixes in Audacity as I stitched it all together. It's not something you could mix on the BR very easily!

It's a bit of a monster, and not my normal kind of thing. But I've always wanted to do something like this - i.e. just really go nuts for once.

That's my son telling the story in the middle. It's part of one I made up for him when he was a younger.

It's the title track for my current album...

Here's the 128kbps version.

If anyone can endure the full 5 minutes at 192kbps, it's on Soundclick.

This is the Nuts Tim!

It's like a scene from Trainspotting or something!

I can really picture this having a really messed up video.
All sorts in the shop.... Shoplifters.. Mum's and their unruly kids..People comming in to pick up their methadone from the pharmacy section.....the shop staff getting up to no good....

Awesome Track Mr Green!

Paints a real Picture!

Peace

The first part is a track I sent you a while back for Jemima's Kite which didn't work. Waste not want not! I just liked the harpiscord feel on the intro.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!!!! I would love to do something like this someday. Psychedelic, mood shifting, ear tingling madness!!!

Your son's spoken word part was a clever addition, and I love  it when everything starts to come back to reality again - cool trem git and the bass line, oh that bass line. Then the smooth overdriven lead kicks in to fully polish(Fully!!!). I stopped everything I was doing for that passage, and then a couple of rewinds - that bass line is wicked, dude!! You saved the best for last, no doubt about that.

I am a fan (Another term for the glossary)

Thats fanstastic - really quirky pop, love it........evokes memories of the beatles and more recently bands like the lightening seeds and the boo radleys, really liked it.........very original, you have your own sound. The guitar in the second half of the song sounds fantastic, and i love the spoken word part..........top work my friend, look forward to more.

Tim, you really need to give yourself room like this once in a while.  This is over the top.  Once every couple of months go all out like this, HOLY SH*T.  That musical brain of yours is just brimming with goodness and wonder isn't it.  This is going to need repeat listens for sure.  I LOVE IT. I LOVE IT. I LOVE IT.
