Wow. This is great! It's a lot dirtier and edgier than the orginal surf sound, but all the better for it. Reminds me of early B52's, and I could hear some vox topping this off nicely. I've always wanted to do a surf-style track, but it wouldn't be as good as this, lol. So maybe I'll wait. I'm downloading this though - just to see if there's any vocal opportunity. Hope you don't mind! If anything come out, I'll send it to you. It'll just be for my own entertainment to start with.

Thanks Tim...always honored to have you review a tune of mine. Glad ya liked it. Definitely dirtier and edgier than the Ventures...that's be my Tube Screamer in the chain and some trem effects on my Tele. I love to hear the notes as they go off into space...
   It never once crossed my mind to add vox. If you hear some and wanna take a shot at it, be my guest...i wouldn't know where to start. Great hear from ya man...

Thanks Geir...i always wanted to do a surf tune and let my Tele do the talkin'. Some of the cosm effects on my BR1200 are sooo cool...i just love that thing. Now if i can just find more time to record with it!!

Those long winter-nights are good for recording
