Well the vox here just stunned me. I've met T and Kai, and having heard Tharek talk I assumed this was a recording of some posh bloke reading the psalm to which Osckilo added the music. But it's Tharek!! Now I can say to you, where did that voice come from?

Cool groove, love the real drums (Kai I assume?) and they sound good with the simple mike up.

As an atheist and a complete coward, the words are a bit over my head but kidding aside it's a really nice intent for a piece of music and a bit different as well. This type of thing can turn out very cheesy but I think you pulled this off.

And thanks for sharing your story, again you are reminding me what a quiet life I lead!

Cheers,

Nigel

Cheers Nigel!

I think that This YouTube Vid explains it.......

I think we use different tones and accents to suit the person we are talking to.... Same applies to singing......

It's almost like speaking a different language........

I'm with BB on this. Anyone remember "40" (based on psalm 40)?

Oh well ........

A very nice production that (most importantly) provides an appropriate foundation for the spoken word.  Very dreamy quality that probably comes from the mega-reverb.  I obviously am not saying that critically as I have turned a few reverb knobs in my day.

I challenge ye to try a completely dry recording some time.  I think we'd all find an entirely new and wonderful side to osckilo.

Another stellar post.

Well done Guys

It is just amazing how music brings words to life...
You are inspirations!

Thanks for the comments guys!

I didn't know U2 did a song like that. Thanks for posting it G! Was Cool!

Blooby..... We hereby accept this Challenge.... Lol ;)

There is a reason why we use the reverb like effects.
This is because the Synth we have can sound a bit Harsh at times.

Moggysan gives me and Kai Flack for there being too much Synth...... Lol

We record it from speakers into a mic and do all sorts to tone it down.....

We shall cook something up...  ;D
