Top 5 Albums of All Time

I know, I know, it's a ridiculous premise for us, who love so many different bands and styles of music, to try and narrow it down to 5.  I know our lists will change sometimes on a daily -- maybe even hourly basis.  But F  it, let's do it anyway.

Rules: No two albums by the same band (otherwise, my entire Top 5 would be Beatles).  No "Best Of" or "Greatest Hits" compilations.  Any genre, any time period.  Can be in random or true order.  No mulling it over -- this is meant to be really spontaneous for maximum honesty.  No coming back and altering lists later.

I'll start (random order for me):

• The Beatles - Revolver
• The Zombies - Odessey & Oracle
• Yes - Close to the Edge
• The Flaming Lips - The Soft Bulletin
• Stevie Wonder - Innervisions

These things do change with the weather, but there are some clear favourites of mine...

- 'Hounds of Love' - Kate Bush
- 'Revolver' - The Beatles
- 'Harvest' - Neil Young

But how can I leave out:

- 'Tin Drum' - Japan
- 'Penthouse and Pavement' - Heaven 17
- 'Ogdens Nut Gone Flake' - Small Faces

Alright I'll play this crazy, impossible game:  I deliberately leave out Beatles because it will get picked to death probably (would have been Revolver and Magical Mystery Tour though).  Here is a list of 5 that I listen to constantly to this day.

Bosko- On the strength of your recommendation I just ordered 'The Soft Bulletin' from Amazon (used 3.49 plus 2.98 ship)  If this is part of what has lead to the Stan Laurals sound, then I wanna hear more!  Never heard Flaming Lips before.......
