here are the lyrics

an indian summer with apache fog
oh yeah and midges and rain
i burnt my fingers on the bbq
but im still glad i came

you're never happy with the weather
you always think things could be better
you're never happy with the weather
you always think things could be better

've got my brolly and my suntan cream
i better hedge my bets
the weather forecast is sunny and wet
you can never tel tell what you might getl

Ha - a jam session with two members finally! The virtual group is converging!!

You guys played with the virtual Greeny in fine order!!

Another listen - killer guitar and bass. The double tracked git is first rate and I'm jealous. Superb vocals - love the effects and extra backing tracks - Awesome!! Perfect bass that just glides and glides... And the solo parts - Yes!!!

It did cut off for me a little early - even after a download - no fade out or anything. Intentional??

I really love this song!!

And Jemima's Kite (or is it "Jemmima's" -- I never know if it's 2 M's or 3) is BACK!

Beautiful song, fellas, BEEYOOTIFUL!!

What a FAT double-tracked guitar sound!  A little jangly but with just a enough crunch for a nice edge.  Very early R.E.M.-ish (very good thing).  I also got a bit of the Sundays vibe, as Mark mentioned, which is another very good thing for me.  Jim's vocals are spot-on, as always.  A very distinct and always perfect voice.  And then the solid and smooth-as-silk backbone of JK, Mike "Flash" Fife on the bass, laying down the super-melodic grooves like no one else can!  This is one of my favorite JK songs, period.

Well done, gentlemen.  Well done. ;D

Greeny

This sounds inspired by comradeship - and booze, lol. Well done boys... you polished this one beautifully. Mike's bass is melodic and incredible. And those harmonies are the icing on the cake. One of our best I reckon. I better do some more guitar tracks... lol

Greeny

p.s. This song is the sound of what a Fender Telecaster does best. I wouldn't have sounded the same on any other guitar....

Greeny

It played fine for me! It ends properly with just the guitars and vox.
