Hello everyone~ It's been awhile since I've posted anything!!  Blind Melon played at the Woodstock '94 concert, but this song apparently wasn't on the setlist

I feel really bad that I haven't been around much lately to comment on stuff...I got a new job, so I've been pretty busy!! The stuff I've heard has been really great...and it's great to see this community thriving!!  BB even has a picture up now?!  Wow, is that really you, man?? Not at all what I imagined lol!!

Anyway, feels good to post again!! Hope you all like it!!

Love your spin on this one. Slightly slower & more soulful than the original.
Great vocals. Don't tell Mr Melon, but I actually prefer yours to his!!

Simply recorded & all he more effective for it.

Love the overdubbed guitar too. Good balance, I know only too well how easy it is for the "extra frills" to completely dominate rather than enhance.

Nice one my friend.

Great to see you back! And you haven't lost any of your musical magic. This is incredible. You make it sound so effortless to play and sing to absolute perfection! This is a professional quality performance in every single respect. Fantastic work my friend.

This is just fantastic, your vocals are incredible as always, but your guitar sound really impresses me.  That strummed acoustic sounds just perfect.  This is a little gem for sure.

LOL, yep thats me, in honor of the Woodstockfest I let myself get a little shaggy looking, no shaving for a few weeks, in bad need of a haircut, and then on a whim last weekend decided to snap a picture and update the avatar.  I better get cleaned up a bit.  I was getting in character  :D, it helps channel the woodstock spirit.  Its all for Woodstockfest.

Kody - Wow. This sounds excellent!  I agree - your version is better.

P.S. - I listen to your "Cowgirl in the Sand" cover every day on my work drive, and if I haven't said it before - it blows my mind too. Really good work!
