I think i'm the one who needs help,i spent the last three days tweaking my cymbals
I'd recommend treating yourself to a line6 pod
I have a beaten up les paul copy(this was recorded with my parker) that sounds great through the pod.
The BR's effects are pretty good though,some of the blue's sounds you guys are getting sound awesome. I don't really like the metal pre sets on the BR though,don't seem to get that metallica CHUG!
 I try and stay clear of all that bouncing malarkey too and drop my tracks straight into Audacity.
 I cheat basically,in the vain hope that some day i can hire a producer to cheat for me
