OK, Charlie - Here's the lyrics. But remember, It's just a song... :D

I'm in my head today
It speaks to me
Soft gentle whispering
in the breeze

And you know that stone
got carried to the sea
Worn down to a pebble
Fought a battle
With the riverbed

I'm alright
I'm alright
I'm alright
I'm alright

I don't know why you're always after me
The jury's out
no doubt you're an asshole

Rubber Gloves -- Check!!
Trashbags     -- Check!!
Got a flashlight on ya? -- Check!!
How 'bout a shovel? --Check!!

Just like Elvis said "I'm losin' my mind"
Just like Elvis said "I'm losin' my mind"

Its....In....My.....Head
Can't get it out of my head

Its....In....My.....Head
Can't get it out of my head

'Cuz I know what you said to me
And I know what you said to me

Its....In....My.....Head
Can't get it out of my head

I wrote a note to myself
on a skeleton key
Bought a stamp and an envelope
And mailed it to me

And you know that craziness
is killing time
By looking up at your window
From the front lawn

I'm alright
I'm alright
I'm alright
I'm alright

A Window into your Soul Bro.....

These Lyrics are as deep as they get......

You have mixed sublime skill (Vox and Guitar) with killer beats to forget yourself with (Not abundant on the MBR......)!

Not easy at all!

But you did it!

That's some bar your set for yourself bro!

Can't wait for your next one!

Peace Mark!

I am even more impressed now Mark after reading the lyrics.  This is damn fine  song writing, and I mean damn fine.  You have a very cool style going on.

I dig it, cool energy to it.  It reminds me a bit of Orgy,  Then Beastie Boys, then I dunno what.
To be pleased with one's limits is a wretched state.

Oh yeah.
Now this is my bag bro.
There's too many good things to mention, but I'll try anyway.
Vocals, guitar, bass, overdubbed vocals, drums, speed change.

And all of this is in your head? You must resemble a real life Thunderbirds doll!

Superb.

Greeny

Those lyrics are freakin' awesome. I love the way this song shifts and moves. That strange little folky / celtic bit in the middle is just great. There's a beautiful, driving menace about the guitars on this, and your vocals float above them very effectively. It's a great track, and it demands repeated listens...

Thanks for posting the lyrics Mark. Deep as i figured. I woudn't want to take a survey to see how many folks here could make them all out...i'd probably get depressed...but the way i figure it, if you are gonna sing, put them out front...on top of evrything else...where they can be heard. I know some folks are self conscious about that, and i know that "modern mixes" aren't real big on that...so maybe it's just the 'old sound man' in me or the fact that i grew up in the 50's and 60's where it was standard practice. The lyrics to your song are quite abstract. Mine always tend to be too literal. Neil Young seems to straddle that line well....but there are no rules in music and that's what's so cool. Incredible you did all this on an MBR. Bouncemaster! Bravo!
Thanks again for posting them. My eyes aren't as bad as my ears...although about 15 years ago i went to the eye DR. to get a checkup as reading was starting to be a bit blurry. Doctor turned to me and said..."Well, you have the eyes of an eagle...but you're an older eagle"    ;)

LCD - I have a 20-something neighbour who would play this immaculate-slice of urban angst repeatedly. It's His Box. I will certainly be downloading at the first opportunity. It seems to encapsulate the brooding melancholy of modern life, and done with an intensity that begs response from the listener. I don't usually go big on the 'Copywrite' scene, but this is so insistent and in tune with strands of modern teenage-ism, that I would endeavour to 'Copywrite' the entirerity to yourself. If this is heard outside the Forum by those with a taste for this style, it will be Ripped immediately.
Very well done.  :)
