Here's something that came out of an academic exercise. Random chords in C major just to see if I could practise the easiest scales that worked over every chord. The 'clever bit' here, for me, is putting in a diminished arpeggio and a tad of harmony - not to mention playing a bass guitar that looks now like a bloody banana with its warped neck. I can't play it above the the third fret without getting vertigo. Anyway, I thought the result was fun....

It was fun to listen to as well - you have all kinds of cool stuff going on. That bass wouldn't be an Epiphone Fake-P would it??

This is really cool!! Even if it is a lot of scales. Sounds great.  I loved the harmonies.
And your right it is very fun.  A happy song. We need more of those types!!

Many thanks! I've just realised other things that would have worked with this.

My teacher has made me see music in a whole new way. I'm fascinated by it and how totally different the electric guitar is from classical. Learning pieces written by brilliant composers is never really 'creative' in the true sense of the word. It's always someone else's music. I'm now learning the rules of music so that you can own it yourself and paint your own pictures. A lot of you do it by instinct which is amazing! I'd love to play the blues as authentically as you elec guitarists out there...

Yeah nice stuff !
I like the harmonys , very clever stuff.

You play so beautifully! You bring the ear and skill of a very talented classical musician to the guitar, and it shows. Fantastic stuff. And too short!

Lovely job - may be an exercise but the strength of your playing shows through and it sounds fantastic!

Cheers,

I'm with you on that one.

This is just Uber Geeky though, I'd be firing peas at you in class for being a teachers pet.

Swot.
