yEAH g1gerjack.
Fantastic i love the way you have also goT all the drum rolls correct-
Love the way you got all the guitar sounds , very near to the original
---and the vocals are as good as your going to get
with out being  Ian C.

Theres a lot of work here as i can imagine it took a long time finding
 the synth drum --- but well worth it.

My fav post yet-----------    Thanks           .

Wiley

I think this is very interesting. You have lots going on and you did a great job of oranizing it.  Jut really cool!!

@Assassin:
Cheers mate. A true Joy Div aficionado. You noticed the drums too!!
I was going for the same feel as the live version played on "Something Else" in 1979
as seen here:
Hopefully I succeeded

@Wiley:
Thanks for the comments. I'm no virtuoso on any particular instrument, so instead I concentrate on the overall feel, sound & production of the song. Anything else is made up with sheer enthusiasm!!
Once again, hopefully I succeeded.

Hi G1ngerjack.
yeah-- And i will try the other song on that very same session
on something elce-----TRansmission.

When I get time i will try and post.

cheers.

ps. I WAS TRYING TO POST a picture of Ian C. painted by Banksy
but i cant seam to post it.

assassin

Yeah -- that session that you posted on something elce
was recreated on the film CONTROL , you probs already
know that --- but ive seen it about 50 times its excellantly done.
And i remember the origional on telly which i taped when i was about 15.

The 12 inch version of shes lost control has some very strange
Delay effects on the power chord guitar ,thanks the the late great
Martin Hannet.
Thanks.

Really fine job & fun listen! - not familiar with the original - but it sounds like you put alot of work into this and it shows!!  Nice layered trax & cool singing & percussion!
