Bang on just what this is all about. I think that if someone handed you a guitar and asked you to get up and 'do one' you'd have no difficulty in nailing it.

Superb. Fantastic delivery. I just love it.

Are you sure this is all you? I want to make sure there's no robots in the background before I comment.... :D

Great job here, your vox sound quite loosened up and your pitch is very good throughout here. I think one of your strongest vox to date. And this sounds really good overall - I must check out the original. Well done for having the guts to do this and making such a great job of it.

We're all beautiful? Clearly you must be stoned.

Cheers,

Did you dress like him whilst recording it???

Nice job, what mike settings did you use? How far away? Curious....

Yeah, I got out the tie-dye for this one.  As far as recording is concerned I plugged in my Boss mini stereo condenser mic, selected a TR1&2 for a stereo pair, turned off all effects, set reverb to 35, set sens to 0, set the microBR on the top of a bookshelf at about chest high, stood infront so that the 12th fret was in line but slightly below and my mouth was above, the microBR being halfway between guitar neck and mouth.  I stood about 1 foot back and strummed and sang, trying hard not to rock back and forth too much (I tend to do that when strumming and singing at the same time).  Then I used Live mix for mastering.  Thats it, as simple as I could get it.  Thanks all for the great comments everyone.
