I am getting a feedback (like a grounding problem) when I use my electric guitar and  bass...  It is actualy a bit anoying because it gets added to the recordings.  This does not happen if I use my acoustic guitars w/ "active pickups".  House is grounded!

The noice is what one would expect when playing @ one of those old bars in a small town in Nebraska...  Always ran the chance of getting electrocuted and adding a twist to a live performance...

Tried grounding the guitar to myself, but starting to look like frankenstine.

Any suggestions?

You said it gets added to your recordings. Can you post a short clip that demonstrates the noise?

Yeah, let me do some cutting and pasting and will post one --- working on an arrengement on the br right now and was going to add the bass part - after I do this will start saving tracks in my pc and I'll pull it from there --- may take a while!  I'll also check in one of my last post - blues.

Thanks!!!

I tracked the problem (i think)...  First time thought it was the cable linkin guitar and br unit, so used another one - had the same problem.  I tried a different cable - 3rd one, and have not gotten feedback.  So not sure if both cables have wire problems!?
