With all honesty , this is probably the best produced post i've heard to date on this site , and that is saying something ,  previous poster's have said it all , i'm just flabergasted at the quality of the song as a whole , very well done Ken , and sister

Whatever happened to sex, drugs and rock'n'roll? Now we just have aids, crack and techno..

Wow  All your posts are great.  If you can do this with a BR just think what you could do in a real studio.  And KUDOS to your sis what a beautiful voice.

Wow - one of the best "hobbyist" recordings I've ever heard (and I heard people with tons more gear than a BR).

Wow, Hooper, what to say?  I've actually never heard the Joni Mitchell version (I know the CSNY version well), but I don't think I will ever need to hear it.  I'm sure this is just as good, if not better than the original.  The production is stunning, immaculate, perfection.  The playing, flawless.  Vocals by your sis are awesome.

Well done, my friend, well done. :)

Quote from: hooper on July 15, 2009, 06:43:30 AMRight.  This song was not played at Woodstock 40 years ago.  But it may be the first song that was written about Woodstock.  (does that count?)   :D

Definitely! In fact, I meant to suggest this song in the original topic about the festival, but I never got around to it. If anyone can think of any other songs about Woodstock, please post the titles and artists in the original Woodstock thread so that others can consider doing them.

Anyway, I'm glad you did this. It's a great song and very appropriate for the Woodstock fest. You did an amazing job on this and Nancy's singing is brilliant! Obviously, you're not the only musically-gifted member of your family.
