Great take on a real classic that goes waay back.  Nice job on guitars, bass and drum programming and I like the original spin on the vocal.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

This is awesome, as I knew it would be.  Greeny, BB, and an awesome song.  What a combo!  I have actually never heard the CCR version!  I know the Animals version and some others as well.  But this one is vintage Greeny/BB, for sure.  This is one Blues song I DEFINITELY DIG!  Sweet solos by BB and awesome vocals by Greeny!

One minor niggle: seems like the beat chosen was in 4-4, whereas the song is actually being played in 6-8 (as it should be).  I would have liked to have heard a truly 6-8 beat with this.  But then again, maybe I'm on crack and just hearing something weird.

GREAT WORK, GUYS!!! :)

Great vox, great guitar, just what we'd expect from you two. Really nice contribution. Love that clean but sharp sounding solo.

I think Bosko could be on to something - some of the fills sound a bit odd to me and the time signature thing could explain it. I don't think you can do 6/8 on the MBR unless you have a very clever Ted-like approach. You might want to just pull some of the fills out and keep the basic beat there because I don't think that conflicts much with the song. The power of the vox and playing shine through anyway, it doesn't need a lot of drum fills IMO.

Cheers,

Nigel
