LOL, love it Steve! This actually works really well and is a great riff, with the punky guitars it sounds good. Do the whole thing and add some vox, it would sound great.


I used to play in a pop punk band and we used to do punked up covers of a lot of rock songs (like Sweet Caroline) at about 100mph, much to the bemusement of any heavy rockers in the audience. I guess we spent too much time listening to these guys:

LOL, I might as well have been! They were a big influence on the band I was in at the time, especially the drummer who played 100 mph drums just the same as their drummer did. Great fun, I love their Banana Splits version.
