Here's a new one from the three of us.

This followed the usual pattern.

James had been unceremoniously introduced to Blackbool a couple of weeks ago and the mental scars the experience left him with seem to run quite deeply.

He rang me from Blackpool one day just to say 'Hi' and let me know how it was all going. He mentioned that he had never seen so many shell suits in one place.
I had to tell him that the women wearing white shell suits with high heels were new brides, they just hadn't changed their clothes since their marriage to Wayne, Shane, Darren or Kyle, and that was the way things are in Blackpool.

Anyway, his lyrics reflect his bemusement at the things that Blackpool had to show him.

Tim, Guitars
James, Vox and Guitar,
Mike, Bass and Sniggers.

Love that bouncy happy feel in the music and vox. It may be not totally out of the JK box, but at least one foot on the rim ....

Cigarettes and coffee beans

Well here we are for another week
It's a little downmarket and sickly sweet
You have to dumb down just to get by
And everything you eat comes in a pie
You better watch out you better take care
You'll be knocked on your back
By the cool sea air
Man on the corner selling lots of tat
Am gonna get me a bag of that
All the shellsuits sitting on the prom
I wonder where they all come from
Never seen so many in one room
But the ones in white are on honeymoon

Cigarettes and coffee beans
Keep me fit and keep me lean
Cigarettes and coffee beans
If I don't get em I get mean

I only came here under duress
I didn't want to come I doth protest
Its everything I dreamt and everything I feared
I'm gonna jump off the central pier
I'm glad the sun shone and it didn't rain
I think that would really have been the end
But it wont be long til I head back home
Phew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cigarettes and coffee beans
Keep me fit and keep me lean
Cigarettes and coffee beans
If I don't get em I get mean
etc

Oh that was Tim with his 70's porn pedal. Cracking stuff isn't it. I can just see the flares, the sideburns and the moustaches.

Yeah, now that's a rough one - love it!

Timwaaaaah! It was almost as if Stephen Stills himself stepped in for that solo. Awesome!!

I too see the sunglasses, porkchops and handlebars - Don't forget the flowered silk shirt and wide collar...

Jim, cool vox and "mean" lyrics.

Tons of guitar and bass everywhere!! This one was my favorite JK tune so far.

The great Ron Jeremy.

The rumour is that he had a built in Wha pedal in the 70's.

I've never seen him use it, I've only seen him on chat shows. Someone told me that he was some kind of actor.
