Hi everyone. I have wanted to do this song for a long time. Just couldn't figure out how to marry the backking track to the intro, but I did it.

3 things.
1) Had to go into audacity and cut this down. The full version is on my myspace music page: http://www.myspace.com/glest67

2) I apologize for the quality issues, everything I did to get rid of some of the low end messed with the rest of the mix. This song is very low endy.

3) There are some songs that should just be played on a strat only lol. My epiphon LPSII will have to do.

Diego Ayala

LestG, I liked the piece/arrangement, but had to turn the volume way down as there was some white noice if I went above 1/2 volume on my headphones.  Guitar work was incredible!!!

Wow! I'm amazed, guess I'm not the only srv fan than!

That was amazing! I.. cant describe it! You better be proud!
If you loose track over a chord progression, play as fast as you possibly can. Nobody will know. Thats how they invented bebop.

WAY TO GO LES........Excellent you deserve a Strat 8) 8)

Man I really hate the quality, my vision was totally different, but I got to do this song. This song brings back some special memories lol. I have set in with people before and asked if they knew this...this evidentally is not a song people can just pick up and jam.

I'm glad everyone liked it. :)

SRV was a special person...ashamed we lost him so young the contributions he made to music after he was sober was phenominal.

Side note...I am about to kick my 23 year old son's ass. He came over last night after I mixed this and he starts playing my guitar ...nothing unusual there. And then it hit me my son is all grown up. He has these hands that just swallow up the neck of the guitar. I have short stubby hands...a lot of what I play I have to tranvers some notes so my short fingers can play them. He sets down and I looked at his hands...just crazy! I wish he would get his head out of his arse and take it more serious...he just strums around
lol

Later!!! :)
