I mostly use Audacity for smooth fades and trimming the ends of my songs. It's capable of much more but I tend to do everything on the BR.

"When one person suffers from a delusion it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called religion." - Robert M. Pirsig

So, when you're ready to burn a cd, you load the final stereo tracks onto your PC via Audacity, clean them up and burn......it might be that Audacity alone would solve some problems for me. I just checked out their website. I should at least try it out.
Thanks again.

CHD - Not disagreeing with 64Gs (You don't get to be Global Moderator on this Forum without knowing the business!), but on the high-end BRs, 1200 for instance, you can trim the song you are burning to the internal CD to whatever length you want. The advertising blurb with the machine says From 1st pick to final CD (and everything in between). If the (higher end) BR is all that you had, you really could do it all on this machine. Good luck with future decisions.
