What a great board this is! I've been poking around for the last few days and have learned a lot already.

New Micro BR user here, and an old cassette multitracker from back in the day. I've been working on my first recording in the Micro BR (this thing really is addictive, even in the middle of the night), and have an editing question that you good folk may be able to help me with.

I had two takes for a synth track (on different tracks) and wanted to combine bits into a single track. There was some overlap, so I didn't want to just bounce them to another track due to the volume boost in the overlapped parts, so I went to the manual and read up on track editing. I was finally able to do it by copying from one track, entering the in and out timecodes from the A>B loop I had set by ear, and then pasting it into the desired track. It worked, but required multiple tries with the timecodes to make it sound seamless due to the overlap.

So my question is this: is it possible to hear or scrub the sound within the in/out timecodes and adjust them before using them?

Thanks to all...

Unfortunately, the Micro BR is the only BR that does not have the scrub feature. You might find it easier to do that sort of editing in Audacity or some other DAW. You can export your tracks from the Micro BR to WAV files using the BR Wave Converter, then edit the WAV files in Audacity. Then you can import the edited WAV files back into the Micro BR using the BR Wave Converter.

Hello, from Denmark! Post some music! :D
If you loose track over a chord progression, play as fast as you possibly can. Nobody will know. Thats how they invented bebop.
