1975Fest (banner image missing)

Covers of songs from 1975 (50 years ago).

The album covers included in the banner are (left to right):

  • Jeff Beck - Blow by Blow - Released March 1975
  • Fleetwood Mac - Fleetwood Mac - Released 11 July 1975
  • Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti - Released 24 February 1975
  • John Lennon - Rock 'n' Roll - Released 17 February 1975
Eagles - One of These Nights - Released 10 June 1975

  • Queen - A Night at the Opera - Released 28 November 1975
  • Rush - Fly by Night - Released 14 February, 1975
  • Strawbs - Ghosts - Released January 1975
  • Supertramp - Crisis? What Crisis? - Released 28 November 1975

Update - April 7, 2025 - I realized that it was misleading to include John Lennon's "Rock 'n' Roll" album in the banner since it consists of Lennon's covers of songs from the 1950s and 1960s which would not be eligible for 1975 Fest. So I've replaced it with "One of These Nights" by Eagles.

Note: To be eligible for 1975 Fest, your song must have been originally released in 1975. The easiest way to check is to look up the song on Wikipedia. In the case of a single that was released from an album, the earliest date will apply. For example, if a single was released in 1975 but the album it came from was released in 1974, then it will be considered a 1974 song and won't be eligible for 1975 Fest. Another useful site for checking release dates is SecondHandSongs.

...and a lot of bad ones too ;D ...be careful with the choice! (I'm talking about the French song/music scene in 1975,...I started a little search on google and you tube and came across a lot of "daube" (crap)
