Wow Tom, this is brilliant and it's great to hear a northern accent. Thanks for posting it.

We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different

TMR - I agree with FHY & BSZ in that order: It's soooooo nice to hear another Northern accent on here. And these songs, esp My Best Guess could come from a Morrissey solo album. The video/graphics for I Need My Home is stunning. If you were responsible (or had a hand in producing that), then should you tire of music, I would assume there could well be a future for you in Video production.
Both songs are well put-together and competently played (My Home being the superior of the two, on these uploads), but both well worth another listen. The voice has a plaintive, lyrical quality, (Hey, we've suffered in the North!), and will become better as you learn the recording techniques associated with your particular BR. I'm actually listening to your songs on crappy laptop speakers (Which I hate doing, because I think it does a diservice both to performer and listener), but I'm afraid when needs must. (I'm now addicted to this Forum. But It's gonna take Long time to get around to listening to everyone). But, TMR, I hope you continue to contribute songs of this calibre, because you certainly have a future here.

Ha Ha, thats one of the first steps in any recovery program, public admitting that you have an addiction.  But in this case you can never kick this addiction, it is just too strong once it gets a hold of you.  We are all here for you Steve.

Regarding this song, I listened to it on the way in to work this morn in the car, and I must say, it is beautiful.  It sounds really good on a good stereo.  Very nice guitar playing and singing there Tom.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places
