I like how the low and high vocals work together and the effect they cause (I shall be nicking that one day ).

Second listen, I started hearing the lyrics as well (lyrics never sink in for me first time, dunno why).

I've been wanting to write a love song for my wife, but "sweet and touching" is not a songwriting mode I've yet been able to summon.

i try to keep it fun, if it wasn't fun i'd get fed up and variety is the spice of life they say, but this one was dead easy to do, when you get music from someone as special as geir to work with the words just flow.

If heineken could write a song they probably would have written this.

This song I wrote a year or two ago. I liked the melody, but the lyrics where crap ... So I sent it to Jim, knowing he'd do his magic. And he DID. He transformed the song from a cheesy boybandish song to a wonderful gem. I can still hear the melody i wrote, but he's lifted it to a new dimension.

You've really listened closely to this !! I know where you mean, and it is the reason I said to ORH I wanted to redo the guitar (well I added one, but the old first take is still there). There is no piano there. It's just a weird bum note on the guitar that must have gone through some strange sonic wormhole before it hit the mic
