This is a song Keith wrote which reflects on the terrible time he went through when he had his eye problems a couple of years ago. He literally couldn't see "the wood for the trees" for a while. Luckily he's ok now.

Wood for the Trees

Oh I love to go a wandering...wherever the path may lead
Oh up the hill and over the edge...and through the fields of green
If you can't see the wood, then get out of the trees...please

I hold my good lady-o by her hand...it makes me feel quite safe
Oh if I should fall, or trip on a root...and get dirt in my face
If you can't see the wood, then get out of the trees...please

If you can't see the wood, then get out of the trees...
You can't see the wood, then get out of the trees...
Around my feet, concrete is baking
If you can't see the wood, then get out of the trees...
You can't see the wood, then get out of the trees...please

(GUITAR BREAK on said hill-top)

I love to feel the sunshine...her warmth upon my back
I love my lady, close at hand...to keep me on the... track...
Keep me on the track...

If you can't see the wood...hang onto a tree
If you can't see the wood...hang onto a tree
If you can't see the wood...hang onto a tree
If you can't see the wood...hang onto me!

Always good to hear a new song from you guys. Excellent production as always, Darren and great vocals from Keith. This one is perhaps a bit more 'poppy' than your previous tracks and that catchy chorus shines through perfectly. What was wrong with Keith's eyes?

Thanks Ray. Keith had what is called " Macular Degeneration " in both eyes. Nasty.

Very sorry to hear about Keiths problems... a terrible thing. Glad he's in a better place.

Yeah nice and upbeat despite how it came about. A very nice listen here as I work. Some great quirky guitar bits and bobs in there too adding to give this track a lot of character. Excellent guys.

A very upbeat, fab, popish song. The engineering, production and performances are excellent. The bass is a cool standout for me and so is the lead solo. Vocals and lyrics are top notch. A real good one Darren and Keith!

lovely super-duper pop song and the production is so polished. i like how that vocal has a sort of Beatles feel but the whole arrangement is first class. well done to all involved!

Great arrangement and performance. That bass drum is LOCKed to the bass guitar. Super tight yet fluid. Vocal harmonies as well as guitar ones are really enjoyable. 8)
