hi i thought i would post this alternative version of Break the silence, that i intend to put on a ep soon
featuring Ray on piano bass and strings. he hasn't heard this version yet so i hope likes it
took me a while to do this version which i may prefer., anyway here it is

We never see the signs
until the end is in sight
We never count the hours
Until were out of time

But where's our angels now
In our darkest hour
Were here then we just disapear
As we break the silence
Break the silence with a tear

Now this pen will bleed with ink
As I try to rewrite all the wrongs
While we count the days we lost
As the songbird sings his last song

But wheres our angels now
In the darkest of hours
It's so so quiet without you here
Till we broke the silence
Broke the silence with a tear

So tell me where do we go now
When all we have left is fear
And how do we carry on now you're not here

And wheres our angels now
In the darkest of hours
it's so damn quiet without you here
As i break the silence
Break the silence with a tear

I enjoyed working on this beautiful song, Tris. The lyrics are poetic and your vocal delivery is perfect for the melancholy vibe of the song.

Beautiful.  Delicate and melancholy.  Great song and I love this version with Ray's additions.

you know I love your vocals every single time and this is a perfect example of why... the way you deliver the points... such expression and so deep and full of emotion.

the song is dark but I don't find it so ... I find it full of hope... I think it's the music but I am not sure...
sure enough this is amazing work from Ray also..

poignant!

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Loved this Trist. All the additions are delicately done and frame that great vocal. Some lovely stuff on the site right now. Lovely song.

I think I remember hearing this one before, but this version is stellar! The piano and strings are so incredible. Ray did a great job on this track! Such fantastic lyrics here as well, communicated perfectly through your voice.
