This song could've included many other things that 'suck.' There's an empty verse for you to add another if you're so inclined and a spot for a short solo too.

I don't know if this figure of speech is used in other English-speaking countries, but it's common in the US - if something 'sucks' it means "it's not good."

You drive all night, but you miss your flight.
Love your honey, but she wants to fight. That sucks!
Bustin' your ass workin' for the man.
Spinnin' your wheels just as fast as you can. That sucks!

But when I'm with you everything's all right,
I want to stay in your arms all night,
but I've got to get up before daylight and go. That sucks!

Open the fridge and you're out of beer.
Driving along and you hit a deer. That sucks!
(add a verse) That sucks!

But when the band's cookin' on the stage
You get the feelin' you're all the rage,
and somebody says, "Hey, act your age!" That sucks!

(add a short solo)

Playin' a tune and you break a string.
Find out your spouse is having a fling. That sucks!

~ sloppy ending ~

angsty rock always works for me...

yeah..
the guitars are cool as shit...
even those boxed up Boss sounding drums rock...

yeah... hits the nail right on the head!
I dig it...
this is a clever progression too... goes into many directions and I like that too.
cool vocals and backers.

Listen buster. This ain't jazz! Your jazzing rights are revoked!

The guitars are cool. The lyrics are fun. The whole thing is spunky.

I'm tired as a duck yet this perked me up some. Now i'm ready for sleep. And that sucks.

One thing that doesn't suck is this song.  Nice rocker with a 60s vibe.  Reminds me a bit of Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels.

What a trippy song. What's holding this together? So many pieces laid end-to-end and crazy chord turnarounds. Sounds like I'm describing a prog song, but it's definitely not that.

This sounds like it comes from the art-punk days, before punk became stylistically rigid.

I just looped it about 5 times until I could anticipate the twists and turns. Super fun! Welcome back, again!

Fantastic, really fresh and raw sounding. A bit punk or garage sounding. brilliantly put together  and rocks like a good one 🤘🏼
