Well played instrumental Nick and also a lovely vocal by Corné. Remember this well (end of 1976 into early 1977) and brings back memories of an episode of unrequited teenage love but I won't go into that story lol.

Ha, I have a number of songs from 1979/80 which still pang strong even to this day. Maybe there's a covers fest in it - songs that still trigger uncomfortable feelings from unrequited love.

Listening to the instrumental version brings me to the realization – yet again – that not all the music I hated on principle was actually shit. It's a beautiful melody chords, and beautifully played.

Actually, in 1977 I don't think I was yet into my full-on "If it's popular, I hate it" mode – but I was getting there.
