Had go with some acoustic, Yamaha keys and Squire P bass added some BR80 drums, did,nt even set up a mic, little condenser mics on the br 80.

I like it.  Sure the vocals sound a little different but they do sound really great.  This is a great BR80 recording...sure enough real good mix.  clean and clear.  love the keyboards too...

It's fitting that SE uses BOSS because he's the BOSS.

Cool lyrics and solid songwriting. It's kinda like a pre-production demo for a 80s pop song. The kind that people try to polish further in the studio, but never capture the magic of the original and end up releasing as is.

You're getting a lot of out from those Boss drums too. The mic serves its purpose quite admirably too. I think i should go back to Boss too. It has its benefits. It's immediate.

A darn good sounding song all done on the BR80. I dig the repeating bass riff in the verses and as an interlude before the choruses. The BR80 drums have a cool attack and the snare really pops. Excellent vocals/lyrics, acoustic guitar and keys. Well done John!

Cool song SE! I like the addition of synth strings and piano here, really gives me a late 80s/early 90s vibe. I dig the moving bass here as well, nice addition! Sweet vocals and lyrics as well.
