For all i know it could be about supermodel Mary eating just a little bit of lamb to watch her figure.

Yeah. I kinda like that. Others get to pig out proper whereas Mary has just a little lamb.

I'm very familiar with this song and always loved it.  Just the idea that SRV would take a "non cool" nursery rhyme and make it super cool, tearing off awesome lick after lick.  I'm listening on a new set of computer speakers (Behringer Studio 50 USB) and everything sounds great.
