Wow what a great version! I'm only familiar with the Cyndi Lauper version but that has a lot more energy.

Sorry, I meant to say that this version has a lot more energy than the original.

So... I popped in thinking I was gonna hear some female vox... I'm pleasantly surprised... This is a really cool spin on a classic pop tune... Idig it!!!

For those who remember, care, or are too old to remember. There used to be a C-64 demo with this title. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. It might have been a tad naughty and although it was a "game" there was nothing to gain.

So in the end the Girl just had fun on the "Players" expense. That's how it goes guys. Sorry to break it to you so late in the game. You would have probably done better by playing with yourself. I mean with your instruments. Guitars and such things.

Robert Hazard didn't even sing on his biggest hit. In 1982, Cyndi Lauper covered Hazard's "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," a track that he originally wrote and recorded on a 1979 demo. Hazard's version was never released.
