As most of you know me here by my screen name Rata tat tat... That same dude has worn many hats....
AKA: Captain KAOSS, Billygoat Stevenson, Wolfeman (Current Stage Name also my last name is Wolfe).So... since retirement I have put together a studio at my house in the "Rocky Mountains". I have appropriately named it "Wolfey's Jamarama." I am currently trying to put together an MET with the Stepping Stone guys. I think with a little persuasion  it will happen. Maybe some of you all on here could help make that happen. I have spoken with both Mark and Eric and they seem interested. It's just nailing down a time of year that works for all. That said... I live in a destination spot... So I am opening my place to host MET's. If you want to come to the Rockies and see all the sites... I got a 4 bedroom house that sits at 8,720 ft. So if you have any heart condition you will want to speak with your doctor before coming. IMG_3237.jpgIMG_3238.jpgIMG_3239.jpg

I'll make it back to Colorado one of these days... or years. Colorado is my spawning ground. See you then – or when you come to Madagascar.

Great space Rata.  I'm unlikely to get there - I get out of breath if I go upstairs so 8720ft would be the end of me!

yeah... it is a great place to record... to have space is a must...
I visited the rocky's in colorado... and it did take me some time to adjust but it was ok... however Pikes Peak was a different problem... I could not deal with that.

cool to hear about your names etc..

you can call me anything you like.  Just don't call me late for dinner

My favorite altitude adjustment story: For awhile I was splitting my time between Flagstaff, Arizona (7000 ft.) and Washington, DC (damn near sea level), and I was running a lot. I had spent several months in Flagstaff running every day. Then I returned to the DC area. I landed in Baltimore, and grabbed my luggage. I saw that the bus I wanted to take was pulling in to its stop way down the terminal – like 200 meters. I started running. Holy shit! That oxygen-rich air in Baltimore was like jet fuel. Damn that felt good. The next day I made a point to go run on a treadmill because I new I would destroy all my previous records for running whatever distance I had been running (5 miles, I think). And I did.

I feel like a schlump. I don't exercise at all these days. Barely find occasions to ride my bike.

Sorry about hijacking your post with runner talk. Back to studios, drums, etc.
