Stellar song John! The melodies are really strong here (especially love that little "aaaaaagain" flourish). Great lyrics and chords as well.

There are some really nice sounds on here. As always, impeccable production and performance.

I think maybe this does sound better than Cakewalk, but then again, I'd probably struggle to tell which was which if you'd recorded in both and played back to back...

I particularly like the chorus vocal, I'm guessing its double tracked here, or maybe just a change of delay.

I think I agree with you on the sound being better than Cakewalk.  I think there is a subtle difference but it also might be psychological ;) .

I enjoyed this.  I like the epic classic inspired intro, followed by the switch to a pop song with a cool bassline.  I think the new DAW tools have given you some new inspiration here. And I'm glad you've returned to the site.

Smoking recording I went to studio one when cakewalk died shows me I need to work on it more everything is well separated and clear bravo
