So the 1st song was Jim's,2nd John's and this one was mine.
It was frustrating on the day because I had played it on my piano just before the studio but my piano is not easily transported so jim let me use the juno but I wasn't feeling it plus the vocal sound from the pa was putting me off.
We re visited it like the other two and the guys done great.
I used the fender roland for the lead guitar at start and the end and for the acoustic and electric guitars, John comes in right after the line got no money with his lead riff and Davy on his Michael kelly from start to finish on rhythm guitar.
Jim came in with two backing vocals.
This song was inspired by a news reel I seen in America where they were throwing homeless peoples stuff in refuse lorrys etc.
And from what I see in Glasgow city centre.
Sad.

I live life on the sidewalk
I fight the heat
I fight the cold damp rain
I'm kept awake by the blue lights
It's enough to make you go insane
I'm a dark statistic
That the city try's to wash away
Like a stain on society
And I can't escape
Ive Got no money

Everyone's got a story
Everyone's got a
broken  dream
Everyone's got a heartache
Everyone's got a heart that beats
I'm a blip in the system
I'm a lonely reality check
In a cardboard city
And I can't escape.
Got no money.

I look and see the sky at night
The stars they all appear
I drift away from all the noise
And blank out all my fears
I use to be a normal guy
That worked from 9 to 5
But now I'm like a city ghost
I barely feel alive.

A voice shouts in the distance
And the place just smells of beer
I curse my existence
Every body is a loser here
I shift the blame on anyone
But the guy that's sitting here
And I can't escape
I've got no money

this rocks... it has the KM signatures on it but also some very cool and different energies...
it has 70's written all over the feel except for the soft synths... which aren't that noticeable to me.
nice tune... a real nice feel to it... everything clean and it rocks... plus an intense lyric and delivery.
well done men...
also KM... your vocal tells me you were really pumped up on this one.

great clab

This is a really great track, pro sound and production, really liked the quick vocal style and tempo , musically its also excellent . catchy track with great guitars, very much enjoyed this.

Great vocals and a real energetic performance Kenny! All the guitars rock but the tone on the lead solo is so cool. It seems to be on the verge of feeback at any moment...nice! You all did great on this collaboration...a joy to listen to!
