This song is song one of Four from the Glasgow met.
Jim (aka old rottenhead) came up with the initial idea and myself and SE came up with a song each also.
The met was very time constricted ( we had 3 hours ) and the sound was very frustrating recording wise because of various things ,so we all carved out the initial ideas and decided to re visit them all in true songcrafting style .
I've got to thank all the guys as there was a lot going on in every one's busy life's but they all came through.
I was determined everyone would add to it like they did on the day.
This one morphed very nicely into a beautiful little piece I think.

S.E on lead guitar lines, old rottenhead  on vocals and  Diefic Dave on Rhythm guitar.
I added a sax ,bass and acoustic and a bit of slide electric using the new Roland strat
The strange thing is when I placed this on top of the original video footage it fit like a glove despite me using a different drum piece.
I'll need to edit the video.
This song was like unfinished business as I was very frustrated trying to get the original sound from the rehearsal room onto tape etc.
It now has everyone's heart in there and complements their abilities.
So here it is, 4 songcrafters on a track created from the Glasgow Met.
Hope you like it.
I love you forever
But not right now
I'll see you tomorrow
Or maybe not
Ive too much to say
But I can't talk
Baby I ain't coming home
I think that I love you
But I'm not sure
There's a place in my heart
For you
This town is too busy
Distracting me
Baby I ain't coming home
I fell in a bottle
And can't get out
I met some friends
And they took me out
To a far off place
I don't know where
Baby I ain't coming home

It's been quite a while since since I've done anything like this. I think the completed song has turned out really good. Glad to have been a part of it. Well done to everyone on the track.
