I was clearing out old music files and came across this countryfied little ditty! It's 4 years old and I rather like it and don't know why I never included it on an album or single. Believe it or not this was Rolling Stones inspired!

Farrell Jackson

A good one Ron! I'm glad you found it and dusted it off. More rock than Country to my ears. The bluesy harp is always a treat. Cool separation on the guitars. Your vocal rocks and I can certainly hear The Stones influence. Nicely done!

yeah... ain't nothing like some more Rockin Ron Bowes goodness to drive the cobwebs out in the morning!
wake up rockin hard... that is how I like it.. and all day long too.

love the whole thing.. the stompin rhythm, the guitars, the bass... and of course the harp..
but the vocals seal the deal

A forgotten gem Ron. I like this and I can see the stones inspiration. Great music and vocals as always.
I have 2 profiles on this site, (NOW COMBINED INTO ONE PROFILE PAGE)
One is a musical partnership with Keith Allen, ( we record songs as "The Devil's Toupee").
The 2nd one is for my other musical projects and collaborations. (DarrenG)
Thanks for listening.

a fine rocker Ron! Everything works and sounds great! - One constructive criticism however if I may? Might just be my cheap monitors but all tracks sound balanced gain-wise except the lead vocals which seem a tad less prominent? All-in-all however a killer piece! 8)

You are right and I am aware, but I can't find the stems to remix. I tried a mid increase on the EQ which helped a bit.

Very cool rocker Ron. Glad you dusted off this one.
