This opens with a cool fiery, grinding rhythm that drives the song from start to end. Great vocals and a rockin' recording/mix/production. Good stuff!

Nice rocker SE! The wall of guitars, both clean and distorted, are used very effectively. Straight ahead groove and a wicked cool vocal.

StephenM

oh yeah... this is my kind of rock... grungy and distorted and kickin like a stubborn mule with an angry man  in his hoof line..

your vocals always are smokin and this is no exception... the R24 does good huh?  you know what you are doing with that.. are the drums from the R24 also?  I used them a few times..

the song really works... it has kind of a ZZ Top energy to it but the vocals obviously are alot different... but this is smokin

Cool driving rhythm with that guitar and great expressive vocals. I agree with Stephen - a kind of ZZ Top energy. Great to hear a new song from you, John.

This is excellent.
That guitar sounds great.
I love the catchy chorus.
The backing vocal shout back is inspired.
Nice one John.

SE always delivers. I don't think i've ever heard any duds coming from him. This one rocks from the get go, but still manages to hold a few surprises too.
Those chorus vocals are a nod towards a more commercial sound in a otherwise gritty production with a slight Lou Reed vibe. There's that same kind of commanding "hear me out now" -type of feel going on.

That overdriven rhythm guitar and those extra riffs pack a mean punch. From the outset the song is simple, but it never outstays its welcome. There are some slick moves in the arrangement to keep it going.

Great rocker John. I like those guitars, remind me of ZZ top. Love that drum beat too. The lyrics are catchy  and vocals are great too.

What a cool rocker. I think it deserves a remix, though. The electric is a bit buried, which robs the track of much of its energy. Love the individual bits, especially that percolating guitar.
