Just some rockabilly fun I decided to try.

I washed my hands in the Black Rock river
I lay down by the riverside
I heard the sound of horses approaching
I know I can run but I know I can't hide.

Sheriff Rafter he's coming after me
With seven of his best men
He's got a dog that can smell me a mile away
Still wearing the blood of that old hen.

That cheating woman had it coming.
Her stunt was oh so cunning
No more hiding; no more running
That cheating woman had it coming.

This jailhouse cell is unforgiving
My final hours running out fast
Nothing changing. Nothing moving
Flesh on bones. Not built to last.

That cheating woman had it coming.
Her stunt was oh so cunning
No more hiding; no more running
That cheating woman had it coming.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Defo rockabilly groove, bass walking all around then the cool solo, with cool storytelling lyrics, great stuff!

A hell raisin' slice of Rockabilly! The deep walking bass is perfect for this style and so is the guitar solo. Cool words and vocals. You nailed it Ray!

Brilliant Ray, you do so many styles so well, I wonder sometimes which style you prefer? You've nailed that rockabilly era so well. The instruments are spot on. The licks/ riffs, brilliant. The drums are perfect.
