Another one with my lyricist friend Mike LeBlanc. Instruments are classical guitar, djembè, ukubass, mason&hamlin piano samples (that I love much). It's called

Autumn's End

there's beauty in her eyes that you don't see
when she cries,when she cries
there's beauty in her smile that you won't see
when she lies when she lies

she's become a mystery to me
she leaves me in constant doubt
deep in her heart some love's got to be
if she'd only let it out

there's warmth in her touch that you don't feel
when she's cold when she's cold
there's warmth in her company that you won't feel
when she folds when she folds

she's become a burden to me
leaves me tired of reading signs
somewhere in my mind there has to be
a much simpler place and time

it's time i see the light from a different view
what we had is clearly through
so i'll pick my pallet up from off the floor
she don't need me anymore
she don't need me anymore

this is real nice... it is like 2 songs in one... nice soft and lovely singing and playing!  I am sucker for songs with whistling in them, major points there.. and the backing vocals really work.  I also like the way the song picks up energy as it goes along... and that piano and drum at the end!

This is a very good song. It has a slight jazzy feel to it. The finger picking on the classical guitar is perfect...soft yet very present. Your vocal and harmony are a highlight for me. The ending piano was treat. Nice work!

Lovely stuff. Gentle and melodic and nice harmonies and meaningful lyrics. Loving the whistling too which works really well. Nicely done!

Cool jazzy song Max.  Really evokes the fell of a smokey jazz club in Paris.  Or Rome, of course.  ;)

Beautiful lyrics and excellent acoustic picking. Nice chord voicings here too, it feels like a 70s Paul Simon deep cut when he went jazzy. Glorious piano solos!
